FAQ - Membership

You have the option to turn on/off the group email function which will email you when new content has been published to a group that you are a member of. Manage your group updates from your member profile.

In addition to your daily group updates, all members of HSNet are subscribed to a mailing list for HSNet newsletters and events, such as training and appearances by the HSNet team. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list from any email you receive.

To update your details on HSNet, sign in and select the link to your name located to the right of the sign out button. Review your details and click on 'Edit Profile' to make changes.

I have forgotten my password, how to request a password reset?

If you have forgotten your password you can use the 'Forgot password' link on the sign in page to request to reset your password. You will be asked to provide your email address and a password reset email will be sent to you.

Yes. Simply update your email address and organisation details in your user profile.

When registering for HSNet, if we do not recognise the domain (e.g. www.redcross.org.au) of your email address you will be asked to provide at least one referee who can verify that you are employed in the human and justice sector.

Your referee/s will be contacted by the HSNet support team and your account created pending their response.

Possible referees to use may be a representative from your funding body (contract managers) or the facilitator of any interagency groups you attend.

No. HSNet membership is FREE.

To apply for membership use the “Sign Up” link; you need to provide your first and last name, email address, organisation and position details. If your organisation is already known to HSNet you will receive password via email right away.

If your organisation is unknown to us you will be asked to provide a referee that can verify that you work in the human services and justice sector. HSNet will review your application and advise you accordingly.

The sign up form can be found at https://www.hsnet.nsw.gov.au/login/sign-up
