With the new term fast approaching, new courses are starting soon. Our accredited courses include those meeting the Department of Human Services full-time study criteria and those designed to helping students build capacity. All our accredited courses attract NSW government funding.

The Standard MHFA Refresher Course is a 4 hour face-to-face course that allows participants who have previously completed the Standard MHFA - 2 day course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For those who are accredited MHFAiders, this course offers an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years, following completion of the refresher course and completion of the on-line assessment. Accreditation will then be renewed for a further 3 years.

From July 2017, NSW has fully transitioned onto the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). For the first time, Australian Consumer Law now applies to the provision of goods and services under this scheme. In this webinar, you will learn from the Legal Aid NSW Consumer Law Specialist Team and NSW Fair Trading about: • the basics of consumer law as it applies to the NDIS, • how to spot potential issues; and • the appropriate referral channels.
