Thank you to those who attended the “SDR Wellbeing Hub stakeholder meeting 16 June at Nowra East Public School. It was a great meeting and we are excited to work with you going forward on this project.

Wellbeing Hub
The NSW Government is working with non-government organisations and the community to drive a Service Delivery Reform project in the Shoalhaven.

The aim of the project is to improve child and family wellbeing for Aboriginal children (Aged 0-9) in the Shoalhaven by establishing a trial ‘Wellbeing Hub’ at Nowra East Public School. The Hub will provide students and their families with access to a range of identified services on the School premises and mitigate the need for children to leave the School to attend appointments for complex social and health related issues. We hope that through this integration attendance rates will increase.

Our vision for the Hub is for students and their families to make it ‘their space, their place’.

Expression of Interest (EOI)
We are seeking expressions of interests from stakeholders who want to provide outreach services from the Wellbeing Hub at Nowra East Public School. We invite you to complete the Expression of Interest form which is available here: http://www3.dpc.nsw.gov.au/wellbeing-hub-at-nowra-east-public-school/.

The closing date for submitting the EOI is COB Friday 22 July 2016. Please forward the EOI link to anyone who might be interested.

Please do not hesitate to email [email protected] or contact Anna Lay (4253 6310) or Graham Parry (0476 808 814) with any queries.

Thanks again for your interest and enthusiasm.

The reciprocal relationship between more severe and persistent mental illness and poor physical health, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes, is increasingly clear.
Consequently, the physical health care of people with severe and persistent mental illnesshas been identified as a serious public health challenge

It provides an orientation to the Project Air Strategy; evidence-based treatments and research, as well as specific strategies being implemented for the care of persons with personality disorder.
