Hi all,

First of all, a heartfelt thank you to all who are working through this crisis to provide frontline (and backline) services to those who need it. If you do not have time to provide information for the Central Coast COVID-19 Services Response please forward it to someone in your service who can.

Our next interagency meeting will be going ahead on Zoom.

Central Coast COVID-19 Response Resource – Action Required

Many of you have been reaching out to your referring partners and colleagues to find out how COVID-19 has affected service delivery. In light of this the Central Coast Community Council is providing all Central Coast service providers an accessible and flexible document to update service options over the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a live document which means that service providers can update details as the environment changes.

Please take the time to add and update your service and save this link to your bookmarks for future reference:
<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BNoSWsHRoLCtkecp5ksjrN6SiJvMljpa6NLPpnODi_c/edit#gid=0>

This document is for service providers only. It is to be used as a guide for referring partners to ascertain changes in service delivery.

Please note, questions 1-9 marked with an asterisk (*) will be made available to the public in a simple document on the Community Council website. This document will be circulated prior to publication and distribution and will be updated as required (minimum of fortnightly).

COVID-19 Pandemic

We know our communities will be going through significant upheaval for at least the next six months as the normal structures of life change or are removed. Already vulnerable clients, as well as those who may not have been considered vulnerable prior to the pandemic will be increasing in need and number. At the same time as the need has never been higher, services are having to restrict, alter or cease operations throughout the Central Coast.

Central Coast Channels of Communication in the time of COVID-19

Now more than ever it is important for the community service sector to double down on the fantastic networks of local communication and collaboration we have in place. So, in addition to a central document the Community Council is marshalling facilitators of the interagency meetings (and networks like the CLSD) to become contact people in each sector to provide grassroots local information to decision makers and funding bodies and provide spaces for collaboration and communication.

If you have any questions, suggestions or you’ve identified any unmet or emerging need and would like to pass it along, you can:
• email me at [email protected] or Bec at [email protected];
• post on HSNet in the CLSD group (and other interagency group); or
• contact another interagency or network facilitator

Yours sincerely,
Tom
