This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong customer service focus to join the Fusion Accounting and Finance Team.
Fusion Building and Maintenance has more than 15 years’ experience in providing specialist disability access home modifications and maintenance for frail-aged and disability customers and is the leading provider in the Nepean area. As a well-established social enterprise, FBM is looking for a skilled accounts clerk to join their team of dedicated and passionate employees.

Your broad responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to:
• supporting the National Finance Manager and FBM Management Team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks to enable timely and informative management and financial reporting, and
• contributing to the financial information needs of the FBM Management Team
You will be somebody who takes complete pride in the work they deliver on a daily basis, who is highly organised, accurate, able to work independently, and able to prioritise.
You will be comfortable taking direction from management with commitment to teamwork and developing strong working relationships.
Selection criteria
Candidates are asked to respond to the following key selection criteria, preferably offering examples from previous roles.
• The ability to work cohesively in a team environment, as well as autonomously on your own tasks
• Experience working to deadlines, under pressure & with multiple management styles
• Highly competent computer skills, working knowledge of FinanceOne advantageous
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Confident and polished communication skills (written & verbal)
• Relationship building skills with people at all levels and styles
• The ability to solve problems
The recruiting panel will need to feel confident that the successful candidate will understand the organisational values, integrate the values into their work and demonstrate behaviours that reflect those values.
As this is a special opportunity that doesn’t come around too often, we expect high interest in this role and will be considering applications until the close date.

About STGCT
St George Community Transport (STGCT) is a government funded, not-for-profit organisation that has provided safe, reliable social support and transport for older people, people with disability and their carers and private customers since 1983.

About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide one on one support to our older consumers and NDIS participants to assist them to reach their goals and continue to live independently in their own homes. Support Workers will be required to work in the South East Sydney region delivering in-home services (including personal care), one on one support and assistance to access the community. Services are provided 7 days per week.

Mandatory
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
• NSW Drivers Licence

Essential
• Cert III or IV in Disability or Aged Care (or other community services-based qualifications)
• Previous work experience providing personal care
• Experience working with people with a mental health condition
• Ability to use technology such as smart phones and computers
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
• Current Vehicle Registration & Current Compulsory Third Party Personal Injury Insurance
• Willingness to transport people in their own car
• Ability to communicate effectively with people with disability and their carers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Willing to travel within South East Sydney.

Since 2001, Peppercorn has provided services to a wide demographic of people across the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas. The Role:
The Intake and Assessment Officer is a key role within our Community Care team and is responsible for conducting holistic assessments to eligible members of the community to support independent home living and community access.

Key Selection Criteria - Essential
Essential • Experience in community care assessment and support and / or demonstrated experience in developing Individual Care Plans in accordance with My Aged Care.
• Cert IV in Individual Support / Aged Care / Disability or other relevant qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to sensitively engage people seeking support and care services .
• Understanding of the barriers to service access experienced by culturally diverse and minority communities.
• Have a strong understanding of issues faced by the older person and carers.
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
• High level computer skills, data entry and word processing.
• Current NSW drivers licence and a vehicle with third party property insurance.
• A National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check must be completed and cleared before employment may commence.
Selection Criteria - Desirable
• Experience with client management systems and databases
• An understanding of Risk Assessment.
• Geographical knowledge of the Hawkesbury, Nepean, and Blue Mountains LGAs.
